Sam Margulies, Ph.D., Esq. has been a leader in Alternative Dispute Resolution for more than 25 years. He founded the Institute For Dispute Resolution of Seton Hall Law School in 1992, and served as Director of the Institute until 1996. He has been instrumental in developing clinical mediation training and has served as mediator in thousands of civil matters, including employment, construction, divorce and commercial disputes. He has also served as a consultant to many organizations on alternate dispute resolution and negotiation training. Mr. Margulies has served on numerous mediation panels since 1980, has lectured throughout the country and published numerous books and articles about alternate dispute resolution. |
Richard A. Goldberg, Esq.

Richard A. Goldberg, Esq. has more than 25 years of experience as a litigator and legal counsel to government agencies, non-profit organizations, and business firms. Since 1990 he has been the principal in Richard A. Goldberg Associates, a firm specializing in the representation of non-profit organizations. As such, he has been regularly involved in numerous, complex employment matters as counsel to management and employees, and as a litigator. During 1978-1990, Mr. Goldberg served as the Deputy Director and Director of Litigation of the National Employment Law Project; as a public interest attorney, and as a trial attorney for the U.S. Department of Labor. He has been involved in many arbitrations, mediations and other ADR proceedings, both as legal representative and as a neutral. In addition, Mr. Goldberg has developed comprehensive, organizational dispute resolution policies for many non-profit corporations and boards. |
